M/V Islander is a San Diego based, US Coast Guard inspected, long range vessel. Designed and outfitted for carrying passengers on multi-day sport fishing, live aboard dive trips, great white shark diving and custom trips, Islander Charters cuts no corners.

Trips vary from the action-packed excitement of offshore Tuna fishing and Guadalupe Island white shark diving to the more serene satisfaction of a Channel Islands scuba dive. On each and every trip, Islander's dedicated professionals insure clients with an exceptional experience through the most comprehensive and attentive customer service available on the water.

Islander's schedule changes with the seasons. Spring trips include deep sea fishing, scuba diving as well as mother-ship kayak trips. Typical destinations for these trips are the Channel Islands or the Mexican coast. Once summer and warmer water arrives, Islander focuses her efforts on the fertile offshore banks and the variety of game fish to be found there. Islander spends the fall months of October and November cage diving with Great White sharks at Guadalupe Island, 220 miles south of San Diego. In late fall and winter, Islander ply’s the warm, exotic waters of central and southern Baja on freelance sport fishing, free diving and scuba diving trips.

Through she has long been a part of the San Diego sportfishing fleet, Slaughter & Conniff's ownership has brought about many upgrades making her one of the fleet’s shining stars. Additionally, extensive remodels have been made in the heads, galley and salon area adding to Islander's reputation as a meticulously maintained vessel.
